White agate. This is the stone we decided to use to create a historic model of pendant earrings: the one dedicated to Matisse, a cat who has become a symbol in the whole island. This is the name of the feline that, along with the concierge, used to welcome customers at Il Gatto Bianco Hotel, in the heart of Capri, and that many still remember with fondness today.
To represent Matisse’s elegance, we chose a clear solution: focusing on white. Just like the coat of this cat, a long-haired Persian with an unmistakable character: a “prima donna”, a true-born superstar.
The combination of white agate and sterling silver makes Matisse earrings an example of style, and you can choose in between the alternative with or without diamonds. Any imperfections in the stone are natural expressions of the raw material used by our master goldsmiths.
